The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Noxubee County Tigers (Macon, MS) and the visiting Aliceville Yellowjackets (Aliceville, AL), observed Noxubee County's basketball team knock off Aliceville by a score of 65-53.

The Tigers (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Columbus (Columbus, MS). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 8-2 record. In their last bout, Columbus fell by Tupelo (Tupelo, MS), 55-52, in a non-league bout.

With the loss, Aliceville falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Pickens Academy (Carrollton, AL) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 12. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Pickens Academy lost 84-18 in their recent non-league bout against Tuscaloosa Academy (Tuscaloosa, AL)
