The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Fannin County Rebels (Blue Ridge, GA) and the visiting Armuchee Indians (Rome, GA), observed Fannin County's basketball team overwhelm Armuchee by a margin of 81-50.
The Rebels (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Chattooga (Summerville, GA). The Indians come into the A D1 Region 7 challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Chattooga trounced Rockmart (Rockmart, GA), 87-70, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Indians battle the Gordon Lee Trojans (Chickamauga, GA) in a A D1 Region 7 challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. Armuchee will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 82-32 league loss to Christian Heritage (Dalton, GA).
