In Saturday's league contest, the host Benton Central Bison basketball team scored a good 62-49 triumph over the Rensselaer Central Bombers.
The Bison (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Delphi Community (Delphi, IN). The Oracles go into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Delphi Community topped South Newton (Kentland, IN), 59-39, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bombers confront the North White Vikings (Monon, IN) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 13. Rensselaer Central will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Vikings go into the contest with a 0-4 record after their 78-21 non-league loss to Rossville (Rossville, IN).
