The Burton Panthers basketball team scored 69 points and limited the host McDade Bulldogs to 38 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Panthers now have a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Allen Academy for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. Burton will confront a Rams team coming off a 76-30 non-league loss to Kennard (Kennard, TX). The Rams record now stands at 0-6.

With the loss, McDade falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Granger (Granger, TX) to confront the Lions in a 2A Region IV District 27 game on Friday, January 3. The Lions go into the game with a record of 0-3.
