In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Canyon Eagles basketball team scored a close 62-56 win over the Seminole Indians.
The Eagles (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Liberty (Lubbock, TX). The Patriots come into the non-league contest with a 6-0 record. In their last contest, Liberty edged Olton (Olton, TX), 63-47, in a non-league contest.
