The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Chuckey-Doak Black Knights (Afton, TN) and the host Cloudland Highlanders (Roan Mountain, TN), observed Chuckey-Doak's basketball team overwhelm Cloudland by a score of 59-34.

The Black Knights (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Hampton (Hampton, TN). The Bulldogs come into the 2A District 1 challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last challenge, Hampton trounced Unicoi County (Erwin, TN), 75-53, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Highlanders battle the Johnson County Longhorns (Mountain City, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 12. Cloudland will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
