Osceola Seminoles (Osceola, AR) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Gosnell Pirates (Gosnell, AR), 79-74 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Osceola advances its record to 2-0 on the year. The Seminoles travel to Hayti (Hayti, MO) to face the Indians in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 10. The Indians enter the match with a record of 0-0.
The Pirates now own a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Trumann for a non-league match on Monday, December 9. Gosnell will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 56-41 non-league loss to Rivercrest (Wilson, AR). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-3.
