Texas High School Basketball - Highlands overwhelms Mercy Prep Academy

The Highlands Blazers basketball team scored 70 points and limited the visiting Mercy Prep Academy Royals to 48 in the Blazers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Blazers now possess a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Lakehill Prep for a TAPPS 3A District 2 game on Tuesday, January 7.

With the loss, Mercy Prep Academy falls to 8-3 on the campaign. The Royals host Athens Christian Preparatory Academy (Athens, TX) to confront the Storm in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. The Storm go into the game with a record of 0-10. Athens Christian Preparatory Academy lost 55-29 in their recent non-league game against Cross Roads (Malakoff, TX)
