The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Islands Sharks (Savannah, GA) and the visiting Memorial Day Matadors (Savannah, GA), observed Islands's basketball team overwhelm Memorial Day by a score of 64-38.

The Sharks (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Windsor Forest (Savannah, GA). The Knights come into the AAA Region 3 challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Windsor Forest trounced Jenkins (Savannah, GA), 71-49, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Matadors encounter the Bridges Prep Buccaneers (Beaufort, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. Memorial Day will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 62-56 non-league win over Whale Branch (Beaufort, SC).
