Next, the Mustangs encounter the Carroll Tigers (Corpus Christi, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 29 test, on Tuesday, December 10. King will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 9-9 record after their 52-32 non-league win over Rockport-Fulton (Rockport, TX).

The Diamondbacks (7-11) will now prepare for their test against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North (Pharr, TX). The Raiders come into the 5A Region IV District 31 test with a 7-7 record. In their last test, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North was nipped by Rio Grande City (Rio Grande City, TX), 55-43, in a non-league test.
