The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the North Tahoe Lakers (Tahoe City, CA) and the visiting Sierra Lutheran Falcons (Carson City, NV), observed North Tahoe's basketball team overwhelm Sierra Lutheran by a margin of 44-12.

The Lakers (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against North Valleys (Reno, NV). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, North Valleys trounced Sage Ridge (Reno, NV), 74-40, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Falcons battle the Yerington Lions (Yerington, NV) in a 2A Northern challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. Sierra Lutheran will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 66-34 non-league win over Coleville (Coleville, CA).
