The Westlake Chaparrals basketball team scored 65 points and limited the visiting Oak Ridge War Eagles to 45 in the Chaparrals non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Chaparrals now have a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to Bridgeland for a non-league game on Thursday, December 12.

With the loss, Oak Ridge falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The War eagles travel to Conroe (Conroe, TX) to confront the Tigers in a 6A Region II District 13 game on Tuesday, December 10. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 2-8. Conroe lost 52-45 in their recent non-league game against Westside (Houston, TX)
