In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Lexington Minutemen basketball team scored a good 36-21 triumph over the Calvary Christian Academy Knights.

The Minutemen (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Eureka (Eureka, IL). The Hornets go into the Heart Of Illinois contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Eureka was toppled by Pekin (Pekin, IL), 42-32, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Knights confront the Cornerstone Christian Cyclones (Bloomington, IL) in a East Central Illinois contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Calvary Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Cyclones go into the contest with a 3-6 record after their 31-26 non-league loss to Unity Christian (Decatur, IL).
