Colorado High School Basketball - Sangre de Cristo held off by Creede

In Saturday's non-league test, the Creede Miners (Creede, CO) basketball squad got by the host Sangre de Cristo Thunderbirds (Mosca, CO), by a score of 45-39.

Next, the Miners encounter the Lake City (Lake City, CO) in a 1A Southern Peaks test, on Saturday, December 14. Creede will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record.

The Thunderbirds (0-3) will now prepare for their test against Sargent (Monte Vista, CO). The Farmers come into the non-league test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Sargent was nipped by Centauri (La Jara, CO), 68-31, in a non-league test.
