Arkansas High School Basketball - Emerson holds off Fordyce

The Emerson Pirates basketball team scored 54 points and limited the host Fordyce Redbugs to 53 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Pirates now possess a 11-1 record. They play next when they travel to Garrett Memorial Christian for a non-league game on Monday, December 9.
With the loss, Fordyce falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Redbugs host Magnet Cove (Malvern, AR) to confront the Panthers in a 2A Region 8 game on Tuesday, December 10. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 7-1.
