In Saturday's league contest, the host Huntington Huntsmen basketball team scored a good 45-31 triumph over the Southeastern Panthers.

The Huntsmen (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Paint Valley (Bainbridge, OH). The Bearcats go into the Scioto Valley contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Paint Valley was topped by South Webster (South Webster, OH), 34-31, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Panthers confront the Valley Indians (Lucasville, OH) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 9. Southeastern will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Indians go into the contest with a 2-0 record after their 54-42 non-league win over Northwest (McDermott, OH).
