In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Santa Rosa Warriors basketball team scored a big 38-9 triumph over the IDEA Quest College Prep Trailblazers.

The Warriors (11-3) will now prepare for their contest against Progreso (Progreso, TX). The Red Ants go into the 3A Region IV District 32 contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Progreso was trounced by Rio Hondo (Rio Hondo, TX), 93-9, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Trailblazers confront the Idea Academy Titans (Donna, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 31 contest, on Tuesday, December 17. IDEA Quest College Prep will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record. The Titans go into the contest with a 4-3 record after their 27-14 league win over IDEA College Prep (Alamo, TX).
