The Maud Cardinals basketball team scored 39 points and limited the host Ore City Rebels to 9 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cardinals now have a 8-4 record. They play next when they host Clarksville for a 2A Region II District 16 game on Tuesday, December 10.

With the loss, Ore City falls to 1-13 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Hawkins (Hawkins, TX) to confront the Hawks in a 2A Region III District 21 game on Tuesday, December 10. The Hawks go into the game with a record of 8-1. Hawkins lost 46-43 in their recent non-league game against Tenaha (Tenaha, TX)
