The Monroe Dragons basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting Toledo Boomers to 38 in the Dragons league triumph on Saturday.

The Dragons now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Santiam for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. Monroe will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 65-44 non-league loss to East Linn Christian Academy (Lebanon, OR). The Wolverines record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Toledo falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Boomers host Nestucca (Cloverdale, OR) to confront the Bobcats in a non-league game on Friday, December 13. The Bobcats go into the game with a record of 3-0.
