Texas High School Basketball - New Caney trounced by Oak Ridge

The New Caney Eagles basketball squad (New Caney, TX), was crushed 50-22 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Oak Ridge War Eagles (Conroe, TX)

With the victory, Oak Ridge advances its record to 9-8 on the year. The War Eagles host Conroe (Conroe, TX) to meet the Tigers in a 6A Region II District 13 battle on Tuesday, December 10. The Tigers enter the battle with a record of 8-6. Conroe won 58-21 in their recent non-league battle against Brazosport (Freeport, TX)

The Eagles now own a 2-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grand Oaks for a 6A Region II District 13 battle on Tuesday, December 10. New Caney will meet a Grizzlies squad coming off a 46-41 non-league win over North Shore (Houston, TX). The Grizzlies record now stands at 13-3.
