The Avon Lake Shoremen ice hockey team scored 6 points and held the visiting Avon Eagles to 3 in the Shoremen non-league victory on Saturday.
The Shoremen now hold a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Steele for a non-league bout on Friday, December 13.
With the defeat, Avon moves to 1-5 on the season. The Eagles host Elyria Catholic (Elyria, OH) to play the Panthers in a bout on Sunday, December 8. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 6-1. Elyria Catholic 2-2 in their recent non-league bout against Kenston (Chagrin Falls, OH)
