In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Dixie Hornets (Due West, SC) basketball squad beat the visiting Liberty Red Devils (Liberty, SC), by a margin of 36-28.
The Hornets (3-4) will now prepare for their outing against Calhoun Falls Charter (Calhoun Falls, SC). The Blue Flashes go into the A Region 1 outing with a 2-0 record. In their last outing, Calhoun Falls Charter defeated Lincoln County (Lincolnton, GA), 56-33, in a non-league outing.
The Red Devils now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Pickens for a non-league outing on Friday, December 10. Liberty will clash with a Blue Flame squad coming off a 61-50 non-league win over Pendleton (Pendleton, SC). The Blue Flame record now stands at 5-0.
