The Monmouth United Red Storm (Monmouth, IL) basketball nipped the visiting Galva Wildcats (Galva, IL), 44-43 in Wednesday's league test.
The Red Storm (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Illini Bluffs (Glasford, IL). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, Illini Bluffs got by Astoria/VIT (Astoria, IL), 46-26, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Biggsville West Central for a Lincoln Trail test on Monday, December 13.
