Kentucky High School Basketball - Russell tops Bath County

December 8, 2022: Owingsville, KY 40360

Russell Red Devils (Russell, KY) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Bath County Wildcats (Owingsville, KY), 67-58 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Russell upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Red Devils travel to Rose Hill Christian (Ashland, KY) to play the Royals in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Royals come into the bout with a record of 2-3. Rose Hill Christian lost 71-32 in their recent non-league bout against Raceland (Raceland, KY)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Augusta Panthers (Augusta, KY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. Bath County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 61-54 non-league win over Nicholas County (Carlisle, KY).
