In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting South Side Hornet basketball team scored a good 73-56 triumph over the Concord Pirates.
In their next game, the Hornet meet the Quitman Bulldogs (Quitman, AR) in a 2A Region 2 match, on Friday, December 9. South Side will attempt to move on its 8-8 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 2-6 record after their 68-44 league loss to Cedar Ridge (Newark, AR).
