Minnesota High School Basketball - Grand Meadow topped by Houston

The Houston Hurricanes basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Grand Meadow Superlarks to 46 in the Hurricanes league victory on Thursday.

The Hurricanes now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lyle/Pacelli for a A Section 1 contest on Saturday, December 10. Houston will battle a Athletics team coming off a 89-34 league win over Mabel-Canton (Mabel, MN). The Athletics record now stands at 2-0.

The Superlarks (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Fillmore Central (Harmony, MN). The Falcons come into the A Section 1 contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Fillmore Central was defeated by Caledonia (Caledonia, MN), 85-57, in a non-league contest.
