With the victory, Highland improves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Miller School of Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA) to play the Mavericks in a Virginia Independent challenge on Saturday, December 10. The Mavericks come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Miller School of Albemarle won 95-63 in their recent league challenge against Hargrave Military Academy (Chatham, VA)

Next up, the Warriors play the New Life Christian Academy Monarchs (Fayetteville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 9. Mt. Zion Prep Academy will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Monarchs come into the challenge with a 10-6 record after their 71-68 non-league loss to Trinity Christian (Fayetteville, NC).
