Waverly Warriors (Lansing, MI) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Holt Rams (Holt, MI), 56-45 in a league bout.
With the victory, Waverly upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Warriors host Eastern (Lansing, MI) to play the Quakers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Quakers come into the bout with a record of 1-2. Eastern lost 67-64 in their recent non-league bout against Lee (Wyoming, MI)
Next up, the Rams play the Central Bearcats (Battle Creek, MI) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. Holt will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Bearcats come into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 43-40 non-league win over St. Joseph (St. Joseph, MI).
