California High School Basketball - Hueneme knocked off by Villanova Prep

The Villanova Prep Wildcats basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Hueneme Vikings to 38 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Wildcats now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thacher for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Villanova Prep will battle a Toads team coming off a 60-28 non-league win over Rio Hondo Prep (Arcadia, CA). The Toads record now stands at 3-2.

The Vikings (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Rio Hondo Prep (Arcadia, CA). The Kares enter the non-league contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Rio Hondo Prep was defeated by Thacher (Ojai, CA), 60-28, in a non-league contest.
