In Thursday's non-league outing, the Maplesville Red Devils (Maplesville, AL) basketball squad edged the visiting Isabella Mustangs (Maplesville, AL), by a count of 79-72.

The Red Devils (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Loachapoka (Loachapoka, AL). The Indians go into the 1A Area 7 outing with a 4-6 record. In their last outing, Loachapoka was tipped by Smiths Station (Smiths, AL), 79-77, in a non-league outing.
