Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Panther Valley overwhelms Jim Thorpe

December 8, 2022: Jim Thorpe, PA 18229

Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Panther Valley Panthers (Lansford, PA) and the host Jim Thorpe Olympians (Jim Thorpe, PA), saw Panther Valley's basketball squad wallop Jim Thorpe by a tally of 62-30.

With the victory, Panther Valley improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Panthers host Catasauqua (Catasauqua, PA) to confront the Rough Riders in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 10. The Rough Riders come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Catasauqua won 67-33 in their recent league challenge against Northern Lehigh (Slatington, PA)

Next up, the Olympians confront the Saucon Valley Panthers (Hellertown, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 10. Jim Thorpe will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 59-41 league win over Wilson Area (Easton, PA).
