The Osbourn Eagles basketball team scored 55 points and held the host John Champe Knights to 39 in the Eagles league triumph on Thursday.
The Eagles now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Freedom for a Cedar Run contest on Monday, December 12. Osbourn will meet a Eagles team coming off a 47-37 non-league win over Briar Woods (Ashburn, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-2.
The Knights (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Gainesville (Gainesville, VA). The Cardinals enter the Cedar Run contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Gainesville ran past Annandale (Annandale, VA), 62-57, in a league contest.
