The Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg Fighting Saints basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Ortonville Trojans to 24 in the Fighting Saints league victory on Thursday.

The Fighting Saints now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dawson-Boyd for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg will battle a Blackjacks team coming off a 59-49 non-league loss to Pipestone (Pipestone, MN). The Blackjacks record now stands at 1-1.

The Trojans (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Lac qui Parle Valley (Madison, MN). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Lac qui Parle Valley triumphed over Renville County West (Renville, MN), 59-54, in a league contest.
