Georgia High School Basketball - Newnan tipped by Langston Hughes

In Thursday's league match, the visiting Langston Hughes Panthers basketball team scored a tight 53-48 triumph over the Newnan Cougars.

In their next game, the Panthers meet the South Paulding Spartans (Douglasville, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 5 match, on Tuesday, December 13. Langston Hughes will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Spartans enter the match with a 5-1 record after their 69-54 non-league win over North Cobb (Kennesaw, GA).

With the defeat, Newnan moves to 2-3 on the year. The Cougars travel to Fayette County (Fayetteville, GA) to meet the Tigers in a non-league match on Saturday, December 10.
