Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Mankato East Cougars (Mankato, MN) and the visiting St. Peter Saints (St. Peter, MN), saw Mankato East's basketball squad wallop St. Peter by a tally of 92-59.

With the victory, Mankato East improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Austin (Austin, MN) to play the Packers in a AAA Section 1 challenge on Friday, January 27. The Packers come into the challenge with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Saints play the New Ulm Eagles (New Ulm, MN) in a AAA Section 2 challenge, on Friday, December 9. St. Peter will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 74-53 league win over Jordan (Jordan, MN).
