The Our Lady of the Rosary Lions (Greenville, SC) basketball knocked off the visiting Newberry Academy (Newberry, SC), 44-35 in Thursday's league test.

The Lions (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Oconee Christian Academy (Seneca, SC). The Warriors go into the SCISA A Region IV test with a 0-1 record.

The now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Greenwood Christian for a non-league test on Friday, December 9. Newberry Academy will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 89-63 non-league loss to Ware Shoals (Ware Shoals, SC). The Hawks record now stands at 2-1.
