Northwestern Trojans (Rock Hill, SC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Spartanburg Vikings (Spartanburg, SC), 54-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Northwestern upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Trojans host Nation Ford (Fort Mill, SC) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 2-6. Nation Ford lost 68-60 in their recent non-league bout against Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC)

Next up, the Vikings play the Westwood Redhawks (Blythewood, SC) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. Spartanburg will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Redhawks go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 59-55 non-league win over Spring Valley (Columbia, SC).
