Iowa High School Basketball - Starmont can't hold off West Central

The West Central Blue Devils basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Starmont Stars to 48 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Blue Devils now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host MFL MarMac for a Upper Iowa contest on Tuesday, December 13. West Central will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 64-38 non-league win over Kingsland (Spring Valley, MN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-1.

The Stars (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Maquoketa Valley (Delhi, IA). The Wildcats enter the Tri-Rivers contest with a 3-1 record.
