Alden-Hebron Green Giants (Hebron, IL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host South Beloit Sobos (South Beloit, IL), 52-27 in a league bout.

With the victory, Alden-Hebron upgrades its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Green Giants host Christian Life (Rockford, IL) to play the Eagles in a bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 1-3. Christian Life lost 57-26 in their recent non-league bout against Parkview Christian Academy (Yorkville, IL)

Next up, the Sobos play the Faith Christian Falcons (Dixon, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 12. South Beloit will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 51-31 league win over Quad Cities Christian (Moline, IL).
