The Highlands Highlanders (Highlands, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Andrews Wildcats (Andrews, NC), 58-22 in Thursday's league test.
The Highlanders (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Hayesville (Hayesville, NC). The Yellowjackets go into the 1A Conference 43 test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Hayesville was trounced by Franklin (Franklin, NC), 52-29, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Nantahala for a 1A Conference 43 test on Friday, December 9. Andrews will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 70-40 non-league loss to Victory Christian (Sylva, NC). The Hawks record now stands at 0-2.
