Arcadia Raiders (Arcadia, WI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Viroqua Blackhawks (Viroqua, WI), 54-28 in a league bout.

With the win, Arcadia upgrades its record to 1-4 on the season. The Raiders travel to Independence (Independence, WI) to play the Indees in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Indees go into the bout with a record of 2-3.

Next up, the Blackhawks play the Melrose-Mindoro Mustangs (Melrose, WI) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. Viroqua will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 52-31 league win over Eleva-Strum (Strum, WI).
