In Thursday's league outing, the Hayward Hurricanes (Hayward, WI) basketball squad beat the visiting Ashland Oredockers (Ashland, WI), by a count of 48-33.

The Hurricanes (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Barron (Barron, WI). The Golden Bears go into the Heart O'North outing with a 2-1 record.

The Oredockers now hold a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Osceola for a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 10. Ashland will play a Chieftains squad coming off a 60-32 non-league win over Unity (Balsam Lake, WI). The Chieftains record now stands at 3-2.
