Sheldon Panthers (Sheldon, MO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Bronaugh Wildcats (Bronaugh, MO), 48-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Sheldon upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Panthers host Galena (Galena, MO) to clash with the Bears in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Galena won 54-27 in their recent non-league bout against Verona (Verona, MO)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Northeast Vikings (Arma, KS) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 14. Bronaugh will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 39-30 non-league loss to Madison (Madison, KS).
