With the victory, Shanley upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Deacons travel to Wahpeton (Wahpeton, ND) to play the Huskies in a A East bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Huskies come into the bout with a record of 2-0. Wahpeton won 70-62 in their recent league bout against Valley City (Valley City, ND)

Next up, the Firebirds play the Fargo North Spartans (Fargo, ND) in a A East bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Devils Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Spartans come into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 78-43 league loss to Red River (Grand Forks, ND).
