Glenwood Tigers (New Boston, OH) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Western Indians (Latham, OH), 57-51 in a league bout.

With the win, Glenwood upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to Notre Dame (Portsmouth, OH) to clash with the Titans in a Southern Ohio I bout on Monday, December 12. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 5-0. Notre Dame won 54-11 in their recent league bout against St. Joseph Central (Huntington, WV)

Next up, the Indians clash with the Peebles Indians (Peebles, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. Western will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 64-49 league win over Fayetteville-Perry (Fayetteville, OH).
