In Thursday's non-league outing, the Hamilton County Trojans (Jasper, FL) basketball squad edged the visiting Lanier County Bulldogs (Lakeland, GA), by a count of 29-25.
The Trojans (1-3) will now prepare for their outing against Suwannee (Live Oak, FL). The Bulldogs go into the non-league outing with a 3-1 record. In their last outing, Suwannee held off Taylor County (Perry, FL), 48-26, in a non-league outing.
The Bulldogs now hold a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Echols County for a A D2 Region 2 outing on Monday, December 12. Lanier County will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 44-36 non-league loss to Georgia Christian (Valdosta, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-5.
