Florida High School Basketball - Poplar Springs nudges Holmes County

In Thursday's non-league outing, the Poplar Springs Atomics (Graceville, FL) basketball squad edged the host Holmes County Blue Devils (Bonifay, FL), by a count of 58-55.

The Atomics (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Ponce De Leon (Ponce De Leon, FL). The Pirates go into the non-league outing with a 5-0 record. In their last outing, Ponce De Leon held off Bethlehem (Bonifay, FL), 41-25, in a non-league outing.

The Blue Devils now hold a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Marianna for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 13. Holmes County will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 45-9 non-league win over Maclay (Tallahassee, FL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-3.
