The Menominee Indian Eagles basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the visiting Iola-Scandinavia Thunderbirds to 56 in the Eagles league victory on Thursday.

The Eagles now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Manawa for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 13. Menominee Indian will battle a Wolves team coming off a 64-48 non-league win over Weyauwega-Fremont (Weyauwega, WI). The Wolves record now stands at 1-4.

The Thunderbirds (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Wittenberg-Birnamwood (Wittenberg, WI). The Chargers come into the Central Wisconsin - East contest with a 7-0 record. In their last contest, Wittenberg-Birnamwood prevailed over Bonduel (Bonduel, WI), 55-49, in a league contest.
