North Duplin Rebels (Calypso, NC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Lejeune Devil Pups (Camp Lejeune, NC), 48-18 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North Duplin upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Rebels host James Kenan (Warsaw, NC) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 14. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 1-2. James Kenan lost 49-43 in their recent non-league bout against Clinton (Clinton, NC)

Next up, the Devil Pups play the Northside - Pinetown Panthers (Pinetown, NC) in a 1A/2A Conference 3 bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Lejeune will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 72-39 non-league loss to Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC).
