The Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg Patriots basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Midway/Minto Mustangs to 20 in the Patriots league triumph on Thursday.
The Patriots now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Cass for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 10. Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg will meet a Squirrels team coming off a 60-16 league win over Maple Valley (Tower City, ND). The Squirrels record now stands at 2-0.
The Mustangs (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Langdon/Edmore/Munich (Langdon, ND). The enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Langdon/Edmore/Munich triumphed over North Border co-op [Walhalla/Pembina] (Walhalla, ND), 59-27, in a non-league contest.
